Servicing and repair
We can service most of the major brands of water softener; our engineers are trained by the manufacturers and regularly undergo update training to keep abreast of the latest developments in water softening technology.
We are able to service water softeners from the following manufacturers; Kinetico, Harvey’s (including Twintec, MiniMax, Crown and Dualflow), Monarch, Atlantis, Ecowater, WaterBoss, Tapworks, Waterside (earlier models), Nuwave, Genus, Hague, Permutit and Ferex. There are also a range of un-named or own brand softeners that we can service, which are generally made up of industry standard parts. Just give us a call and we can advise accordingly. A picture of your softener emailed to us will help greatly in identifying if we can help or not.
For customers whose water softener warranty has expired, ask about our Total Care plan which will warranty your softener for both parts and labour from just £9.95 per month. This includes a yearly visit to check on the operation of the water softener, a clean of the softener resin with a specialist cleaner, and a water test to ensure that your unit is operating at its maximum efficiency. This also includes any call outs due to parts failure with the softener.
We offer a specialised internal clean and sanitisation of your softener or drinking water filter which will restore its performance to “as new”. Please contact us for details.
If your softener is beyond economical repair we can give you some options for the replacement of your current system, which is some instances can also include relocation to a more convenient position.
All our service and repair work is fully guaranteed.
Please note, any service appointments cancelled or postponed within 24 hours of the due date will be subject to a late cancellation charge as we will then be unable to re-schedule other work to make up the time.
Since writing this page, Harvey’s have changed the way that they do business as a result of their take over by Culligan. Instead of operating through a wide range of independent Dealers, they now tend to employ commissioned, direct sales staff and their own engineers and despite Total Soft Water taking over a Harvey’s MiniMax Dealer (Silkstream in Bedfordshire) they have refused to supply us spare parts. As such, in some circumstances we may need to reroute you back to Harvey’s for service, but it is still worth giving us call as we will do what we can to help.
