The Top Three Water-Related Rides Worldwide!

Everyone loves a bit of thrill and excitement in their lives from time to time, that’s why there are so many fantastic opportunities to get out and about this summer! Water, as we often like to say, has given us many things; in some cases, even some fast-paced fun.
We’ve trawled through the research and tallied up the votes, and now we’re going to show you exactly where you need to be headed if you’re in search of some nautical fun over the next few months!
Tidal Wave, Thorpe Park
Many people have taken the time to criticise Tidal Wave for its simplicity, but we and many others say that its simplicity is why we like it.
Short as the ride may be, its concept is drawn from the original reason for the log flume: get soaked and put a smile on your face! Tidal Wave makes no mess about getting the job done, and we think it’s the perfect send-off to the end of any Thorpe Park trip.
The best part about Tidal Wave is the wonderful scenery. Taking the time and effort to construct sunken homes and monuments really gives this ride its characters; to see the destruction as you come down feels pretty great while you’re up there.
River Quest, Phantasia Land
Speaking of doing things just right, this ride is yet another shining example of greatness. River Quest has the perfect amount of relaxing river ride, combined with the thrill and excitement we’re seeking, pulling off something a little bit magical.
Imagine yourself serenely floating around the moat of an old castle, before you round the bend to be greeted with one magnificent, wave-making, splash.
This classic example, however, is not the only trick that River Quest has up its sleeve. We highly recommend booking a trip and going to see those surprises for yourself!
Valhalla, Blackpool Pleasure Beach
All accounts show this ride as being the undisputed hidden gem of water rides. Nestled away in the corner of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and unassuming despite its size, this classic log flume will test the sealegs of even the most battle-hardened Viking.
Slow and steady at times, much like River Quest, Valhalla takes you on yet another journey, but with some extra spice to always keep you guessing.
With multiple drops, dynamic scenery (that’s right, we’re talking water tunnels!) and, frankly, one of the coolest log flumes ever, we suggest that all water-ride fanatics make a special stop here!
So, there you have it, three destinations to pick from on your summer travels. Rest assured, wherever you go, there will be plenty more rides to keep you entertained. With many more blogs on the horizon, be sure to follow us and keep up to date with all the latest!
